• Do not look at the keyboard – not even a quick peek! Look only at the screen.
  
• You can easily find the starting position without looking at thekeyboard – feel the bumps on the letters 'F' and 'J' (at the bottom ofthe key).
  

• In the beginning, you will be practicing with letters that don’tspell out any words. As you get to know the keys, you will use "real"words and sentences. That is the only way to really be successful whenlearning to type.
